Starter Plan

The Starter plan ($39/month) is for clinicians who don’t need unlimited usage every month — per-diem, PRN, students, side-gig, and lighter-volume specialists. It includes 40 AI note generations per month with the same EHR Auto-Fill, AI Note Generation, and AI Chat features as the Unlimited plan. The cap resets on the 1st of each month.

For clinicians who routinely exceed 40 generations per month, the Unlimited plan ($59/month) lifts the cap. Unlimited+ ($89/month) adds Voice Scribe on top of that.

What counts as a “note”

Each AI generation counts as one note toward the 40-per-month quota:

This matches how the math works in practice: you’re paying per Gemini call, but only the first generation on each page actually creates new content — regenerations are you iterating on existing content.

During your free trial

Your 7-day free trial is not subject to the Starter quota. You get full unlimited access during the trial regardless of which plan you signed up for. The quota only kicks in once your trial converts to a paid Starter subscription.

Checking your usage

Your current month’s usage is shown in Settings in the extension and the iOS app, right under your subscription status. The counter resets automatically on the 1st of each month at midnight UTC.

What happens when I hit 40?

You’ll see an upgrade prompt the next time you try to generate. You can upgrade to Unlimited at $59/month from your account dashboard — the change applies immediately and you’ll have unlimited generations for the rest of the month. Your existing patient data, templates, and settings carry over.

If you decide not to upgrade, you’ll regain access at the start of the next month when the quota resets.

Can I downgrade from Unlimited or Unlimited+ to Starter?

Yes. Go to your account dashboard and switch plans. The change applies at the end of your current billing period. Note that if you’ve been using Voice Scribe (on Unlimited+), it won’t be available on Starter.
