Manage Your Subscription
You can manage your SOAP Note Buddy subscription directly from your account dashboard at soapnotebuddy.com/account. Plan switches, cancellations, and account deletion happen in-page. Payment method changes and invoice downloads open Stripe’s secure billing portal.
Opening Your Account Dashboard
You can get to your account dashboard two ways:
- From the extension or app: Go to Settings and click Manage Account. You’ll be signed in automatically.
- From any browser: Visit soapnotebuddy.com/account and sign in with your email.
Switching Plans
Under Switch your plan, you’ll see every plan we offer. Your current plan is marked, and every other plan has a Switch button next to it.
- Click Switch next to the plan you want.
- We’ll show you a proration preview: how much you’ll be charged today (or credited) and what you’ll pay going forward.
- Click Confirm switch to apply the change.
The change takes effect immediately. You don’t lose access to anything during the switch.
Updating Your Payment Method
Click Manage payment & invoices in the status card. This opens Stripe’s secure billing portal in the same tab, where you can edit your card on file. When you’re done, use your browser’s back button to return to your dashboard.
Viewing and Downloading Invoices
Open the billing portal the same way (Manage payment & invoices). Your full invoice history is listed there, and you can download any invoice as a PDF for expense reports or reimbursement.
Canceling Your Subscription
Scroll to Cancel subscription and click the button. You’ll be asked to confirm. After you confirm, you keep full access until the end of your current billing period — nothing is lost immediately. If you change your mind before then, a Resume Subscription button appears in the status card.

Deleting Your Account
If you want everything removed, not just paused, scroll to Delete account. You’ll have to type DELETE to confirm. This permanently deletes your account, all patients, notes, templates, and history, and cancels your active subscription. It cannot be undone.
